Tony Perri
Producer / Director
Tony Perri is co-founder of Serotonin Rising Pictures, LLC
and an adjunct Professor in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Production
at the
University of Colorado
. He is also the Executive Producer of
Perri Pictures
.
Tony's broadcast production career began in Grand Junction, Colorado
at KREX-TV (NBC). Tony moved on quickly and continued
producing, writing and directing for KFTY-TV (IND) in
Santa Rosa, CA, the Orange County NewsChannel in Newport Beach,
CA and KPIX-TV (CBS) in San Francisco.
As a producer, writer and director with the Walt Disney Company,
Tony produced hundreds of live broadcast events, network segments and NBC
Sunday Night Movie openings.
In 1992, Tony founded Tony Perri Productions and Perri Pictures.
His client list tops over 100 and includes: The Walt Disney Company,
NBC Television, FOX News, Turner Broadcasting,
Universal Pictures, Discovery Channel, BBC,
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, US Postal Service,
Moscow State News, Larry King Live, Warner Bros.,
Princess Cruises and many others.
Tony has had the pleasure of working with personalities such as
Michael Jordan, Gene Hackman, Mary Tyler Moore, Frank Sinatra,
Neil Armstrong, Whoopi Goldberrg, Clint Eastwood, Oprah Winfrey,
Paul McCartney, Quincy Jones and others.
Tony produces, writes and directs a variety of broadcast and film
productions including satellite media tours, broadcast news and
entertainment releases, music videos, commercials, public service

Darren Foster
Producer / Writer
Darren Foster is Co-Founder of
Serotonin Rising Pictures, LLC and President & Founder of
Film Scribe
and Film Scribe Productions.
He is an Adjunct Instructor at
The University of Colorado, Denver
and
The Colorado Film School
where he teaches screenwriting and film production.
Darren founded and was Co-Director for The Vail Filmmaker Project
which is the educational arm of the
Vail Film Festival
.
Currently, he is Co-Director of the Screenwriting Contest at the Festival and is a member of the Festival's Advisory Board.
Darren has also been on the faculty of
The Screenwriting Conference in Santa Fe
since 2005 where he teaches a variety of screenwriting seminars
and is the conference's resident "Pitch Doctor".
Darren is an active screenwriter and script doctor for various production studios. He has written over 100 screenplays
and has several under option and contract.
His latest writing projects include the feature screenplays
Ice Falcon, which he just finished writing under contract in October 2009, and
Nephilim
, which is scheduled to start production oversees in 2010.
Darren has a BA in Film and Video Production from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and was a member
of the Missouri Repertory Theater troupe for over five years.
Darren currently resides in Estes Park, Colorado with his wife, Shana, and his
dog, Bear.

Gerralee Chin-Rothbard
Executive Producer
Ger is a native Californian who has worked in the broadcast industry as a reporter/writer at an NBC affiliate in San Luis Obispo
and in production for KCRA-TV (NBC) in Sacramento. She is also a founding member of a chain of up-scale family health and
racquet clubs, one of the largest, privately owned in California. In addition, real estate development is a field she is exploring.
Besides relishing her varied career pursuits, Ger devotes energy to her family and community groups involved with the homeless and abused,
particularly single mothers and their children. Because of her love for the game of golf, she also participates and volunteers in various golf events.
"Serotonin Rising" is Ger's debut in film-making. While reading the script, she was inspired by the positive messages the story generates
for people of all ages. She is thrilled to be contributing her life experience and business expertise to the "SR" team.
Ger earned her BA degree from CSU, Sacramento and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. Ger, who has a daughter Ariel in college,
lives in Rancho Santa Fe with her dog Polo.

Tamara LaFarga
Executive Producer
Tamara Lafarga has created and developed numerous successful businesses including an elite health club and the development of multiple real estate projects.
She has lectured and presented internationally on the topics of health, nutrition, fitness and hydro therapy.
However, contributions to the betterment of mankind have been paramount in her life.
She served as a missionary to the
Mayan Indians in Guatemala and taught health and nutrition in Mexico. She is a devoted volunteer and fund raiser for the disadvantaged.
She has chaired events for children, women and the elderly and is the author of the book "Women's Witticisms" for which a percentage of sales
supports the Foundation for Women.
She believes that by volunteering and helping others we will positively
impact the lives of those we have helped and all associated with those individuals.
Tamara has a BS from the University of Wisconsin, graduate work at University of Wisconsin (education) and UNLV (exercise physiology)
and a degree in Gerontological counseling form UCSD.

Bill LeVasseur
Associate Producer / Lead Actor
After serving 5 years in the U.S. Air Force, Bill LeVasseur started a
modeling career in New York City with "Click" models for fashion
catalogues and ads. His first lead role was in a short film called
"Torn", which won 'Best Asian-American Romantic Short' at the
New York Independent International Film Festival.
Following the short, Bill was cast for the lead in his first feature,
"Ryan's Babe". Later, he moved to Hollywood to perform in such
hit T.V. shows as "Melrose Place", "Days of Our Lives",
and "The West Wing", and films like "The Postman",
with Kevin Costner.
Later, he formed his film and promotional company,
BLinc Pictures. Under his banner, he produced and/or directed
many films including "The Morning After", "Dying to Eat",
and "Izzno Wyatt". Bill recently acted in "Broken Fences",
"Tuesday Morning", and "Standards of Ethical Conduct".
He is a commercial actor helping sell everything from Chevy Trucks to
Coors beer. Furthermore, he is involved with the
Vail Film Festival
as the Features Programmer. Currently, Bill is Host of the national TV

Tom Parkin
Associate Producer / Director of Photography
Tom Parkin has been producing films and videos since the age of 13.
Upon graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado in 1994 with a degree in Video & Music Business,
Tom worked as a production manager at AV Services in Denver, Colorado for 5 years.
In 1999, Tom founded KFSM Entertainment which produces broadcast programs and creative video content
for television, video, DVD and the Internet.
Since 2003, Tom has been the Director, Producer, Cinematographer and Editor of the American Health Front
television series which airs across the country. Prior to "Serotonin Rising", Tom has been Director of Photography
on three feature films: "Head Hunter" (2002), "Broken Fences" (2008) and "Olivia Rox!" (2009).

Alan O'Hashi
Associate Producer / Location Manager
Alan O'Hashi has been creating community media since 1963 when
he began writing for Fair Views, his elementary school newspaper. He
put away his newspaper pen and began Kaeru Productions in 2005
providing community-based content on the screen and stage. Alan
resurrected his writing with the Denver Screenwriting Center
and Lighthouse Writers Workshop.
His first short screenplay,
"Stardust", won an award in the 2005 DSC contest. Over the past
few years he has produced and directed three short movies,
"Gold Digger" and "Stardust" which premiered at the
Boulder Asian Film Festival and "A Little Bit of Discipline"
about the Heart Mountain Japanese internment experience screened
at the Rosebud Film Series in Powell, Wyoming.
Alan has one stage production to his credit, the award winning
"Webster Street Blues" by his childhood friend Warren Kubota.
The Mercury Café production was a fundraising event for the South Asian
tsunami relief effort. He also is the Executive Director of Boulder
Community Media.

Megan Strawn
Associate Producer / Script Supervisor
Megan Strawn has been active in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. Her passion for performing stems from a very early
appreciation for and devotion to music. She studied private voice in the classical, jazz and theatre genres with
Novie Greene and Mary Scheibe for 10 years.
As an adolescent, Megan studied under Philip Karr at the L.A. Acting Workshop in Orlando, FL.
She went on to work with numerous clients in commercial, television and film including Nickelodeon, HBJ Publishing,
Walt Disney World, Verizon Wireless, HBO, and Paramount Pictures.
While her training and background in music, acting and dance has prepared her for performance opportunities,
Megan is thrilled to join the talented crew of "Serotonin Rising". She enjoys learning new aspects of
production and is very thankful to work with the Colorado film community.

Russell Perri
Original Music
Russell Perri is founder and owner of
Perri Music Productions
which opened in 1990. His music abilities range far beyond his
performances and compositions.
Mr. Perri has produced numerous CD
projects for a number of groups and artists in many genres
including Pop, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues, Christian, New Age and Musicals.
He also produced his own CD entitled 'Miracle Years' which include
some of his outstanding piano pieces. Mr. Perri is presently working on two
new CDs which include his most recent piano and vocal compositions.
In November of 1999, Mr. Perri received the prestigious
Certificate of Award from the 16th Annual Mid-Atlantic Song Contest
for his original composition entitled, 'Here I Am, Take My Hand'.
In 1998, he also received the first place award in the field of songwriting
at the Musical Talent Contest in Spokane, WA.
His live performances as a singer/pianist include: The Re-Grand Opening
of the Missoula, Montana International Airport, the Grand Opening of
Camp-Make-A-Dream (a highly esteemed Cancer camp for children), concerts
at the Helena, MT Civic Center and The Hamilton, MT Performing Arts Center
to name just a few.
Aside from his busy professional career, Russell teaches music
composition, arranging and piano techniques to students of all ages.
He is also involved as Music Director for two local churches in his area.
Russell currently resides in the Bitterroot Valley of Northwest,
MT with his yellow lab Otis.

Chris Dodge
Unit Production Manager
Chris Dodge is a student at the
Colorado Film School
currently seeking a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Writing and Directing for the Screen. He is entering his final year of the program.
Chris has worked on a number of student film projects both Directing and Producing in the past few years. Chris also works as a volunteer for
both The Vail Film Festival and The Boulder International Film Festival judging scripts and producing video segments for broadcast.
Chris currently resides in Thornton, CO juggling a part time job with a full time school schedule.

Maggie Hart
Unit Production Manager
Maggie Hart is a producing student at the
Colorado Film School
, as well as a reader for ICM. She has worked on dozens of student films as either AD or Producer,
and has produced several non-student projects as well.
In July of 2009 Maggie produced the best film of the 48 Hour Film Project, "For You", which has received national attention.
Since then she has continued to produce at the film school with three new shorts shooting this spring.
